Welcome to Gramercy Elementary School's Website! My name is Lynesia Preyan-Raymond, and I am the proud principal of Gramercy Elementary School (GES). I have been blessed to serve students and families of St. James Parish Public Schools for the past six years as a third grade math and science teacher, kindergarten teacher, Library Media Specialist, Instructional Coach, Assistant Principal, and Principal. All of these roles have prepared me to proudly serve all stakeholders of GES in this capacity.  

It is my hope that this website serves as an informational tool to help you to become more familiar with the environment of Gramercy Elementary School.  I encourage and invite all of our stakeholders, parents,  business leaders, and community members, to become active partners of Gramercy Elementary School.

Welcome to Gator Country! I am the Assistant Principal of Gramercy Elementary, which houses fourth through sixth grade education as well as the Academic and Performing Arts and Magnet Program. 

St. James Parish is an amazing district to work for, and I have been blessed to work for this district for eight years. I started my professional education journey as a 7th and 8th grade teacher, and I have coached many sports at the varsity level such as volleyball, track, and bowling. I then stepped into a servant leadership role as an Instructional Coach for four years for English and social studies teachers. I valued my time working with and supporting teachers, and that path has led me here, as a part of the GES family.  

I look forward to serving the students, the faculty and staff, and the community as we all strive for excellence for GES. 

Administrative conferences can be scheduled at the request of the parent or guardian anytime during the school year.
